Abstract：The earth is the most convenient and economical resource from which People get food. However, because of the characteristics such as unmovability of earth locations, limitation of quantity and unstability of out-pus influenced by the weath etc, the earth, in a given period of time and under certain econemic and technoligical conditions, can not satisfy people's unlimited need for food. To study and to grasp the dynamic relation between the earth's ability to yield and the reasonable population endurance in different time and in certain areas can supply important evidences for the planning of developing regional population and economy. This article forecasts the earth bearing capacity of Karst region in southeast of Guangxi. Using the method of quantitative analysis combining with qualitative analysis, this article forecasts the earth bearing capacity in different future Periods of time, in different population developing schemes and under different life-consuming criterions. Therefore the results can provide scientific evidences for the developing strategic research of population and economy in that region.
